Health & Fitness: Workout Playlist Vol.1

I've been thinking about how to incorporate these new things I've been learning and experiencing since I've started to acquire a new healthy lifestyle – gym, fitness and all. It's still early days to report anything significant but I am very optimistic if things continue the same way as they're currently headed. I must say that it's challenging to fit this new ‘thing’ into 24h that were already well stuffed with things to do. I do apologize if I skip a day or few with my posts. The thing is, I'm not used to working out, not used to making time for such an activity – I was quite a couch potato for years! I could not even imagine to which extent certain adjustments have to be made in order to achieve something in this area. I will try to publish post as regularly as I can but if I sometimes skip a day during these first month or two, I hope that you'll understand that it's because I'm extremely tired. Tired but happy! That's just one of the things I'll discuss in the new series of posts titled ‘Health & Fitness’ and I intend to mash everything in there – experience of joining the gym, new healthy recipes, how I prepare and take certain food to work (to avoid takeout), shopping checklists, beauty & food supplements, workout gear, fitness motivation and the lot. Among all those things I've decided to occasionally share my workout playlists. These will be my top ten tracks that get my blood pumping, speed up my pace and get me into mood to nail that stepper for at least an hour. I actually can do even more than one hour on that thing just thanks to a well-adjusted playlist and that's huge for me. It goes without saying that a visit to the gym requires a pre-planned playlist. I don't know about you but I know certain people who can workout whilst listening to Lana Del Rey – hats off ladies & gents, if you're able to do so – I simply cannot. Even though I adore Lana, I need something way more energetic. Not sure if you know this about me but I'm a massive fan of progressive house/trance/dubstep/chill/ambience and other kinds of electronic music so, naturally, my phone is crammed with over 200 of such songs. This time I bring you my top ten tracks which I've listened to this week and hopefully they'll sort your workout out as they have mine. Enjoy my Workout Playlist Vol.1! Now, if you'll excuse me, I'll attempt walking to the bathroom as my legs are burning up…No pain no gain!

Razmisljala sam o tome kako da uklopim dosta nekih novih stvari koje ucim i sva nova iskustva kroz koja prolazim otkako sam odlucila usvojiti novi, zdravi zivotni stil – znate vec, teretana, redoviti treninzi itd. itd. Jos uvijek je isuvise rano da prijavim znacajniji napredak no jako sam optimisticna. Ukoliko stvari nastave ici tokom kojim sada idu, moguce je postici sve sto sam zamislila. Jedino sto mi je malo nezgodno jeste organizacija. Izazov je uklopiti nesto u potpunosti novo u svoja 24h koja su vec, ruku na srce, bila pretrpana. Unaprijed se izvinjavam ukoliko preskocim koji dan sa postovima na pocetku – samo je potrebno da se naviknem na novi zivotni ritam. Sve ovo nekome moze djelovati kao da vam se obraca ‘drama queen’ ali vjerujte da nikada ranije nisam bila fizicki aktivna – iskreno govoreci, sigurno sam bila jedna od najlijenijih osoba za koje znam + jos sam k tome veliki hedonista (tzv.poguzija). Tako da, u pocetku nisam uopste bila svjesna koliko ce se toga trebati izmijeniti. Zato vec sada spominjem da, ako primjetite zatisje – sigurno odmaram ove misice u nastajanju. Jako sam umorna ali jako sretna! Taj osjecaj je samo jedna od stvari o kojima cu pisati u novoj rubrici na blogu koju sam nazvala ‘Zdravlje i Fitness’. Ovu rubriku sam namijenila mnostvu razlicitih tema – od iskustva odlaska u teretanu, biti ce rijeci o zdravim receptima, pripremi hrane koju nosim sa sobom na posao (kako bi izbjegla narucivanje), shopping listama namirnica, suplementima ishrani, opremi za trening, fitness motivaciji i jos mnogo toga. Jedan od noviteta ce biti povremene playliste na koje se uzdam tokom svojih treninga. Preporuciti cu vam muziku od koje mi krv brze kola venama, ritam vjezbanja se popenje na visi nivo i zahvaljujuci kojoj izdrzim na steperu barem jedan sat, sto je za mene ogroman napredak. Jednostavno, podrazumijeva se da ce npr. posjeti teretani prethoditi slaganje pomno odabrane muzike jer ona je zaista efektan podsticaj. Ne znam za vas, no meni je potrebna dosta energicna muzika. Poznajem osobe koje uspjesno treniraju uz Lanu Del Rey – skidam vam kapu, dame i gospodo, ukoliko ste jedni od tih fenomena. Ja jednostavno nisam taj tip. Ne znam da li sam ranije spominjala ali ja sam velika ljubiteljica elektronskog zanra (progresivni house/trance/dubstep/chill/ambience/deep house i slicno). Naravno da ce moj telefon biti prepun takve muzike (preko 200 unosa) a ovaj put vam predlazem meni najdrazih deset pjesama koje su mi ove sedmice olaksale i potakle trening. Nadam se da ce Playlista za trening Vol.1 vama biti od koristi koliko je bila meni. A sada, ako cete mi dopustiti, pokusati cu odpuzati do kupatila jer su mi noge ‘upaljene'…
