Gloomy skies call for flash photography (at least while indoors), sorry guys. Well, at least my Canon 600D has a good flash so the photos aren't washed out. Can my camera be the first favorite of the week? It certainly is the favorite of every week as it makes blogging and generally taking photos a breeze. As for the beauty part of the This Week's Darlings #12 edition, we have eight autumnal editor's picks that are already making the transition of seasons very much enjoyable. Let's start with skincare with a pricy purchase but well worth every penny – the amazing Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel. It's a cleansing balm and even though I was trying to hunt down the Clinique's Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm (that shall be mine one day as well), I must say that I'm rather glad I picked Oskia's offering in the end. Review of this amazing, amazing product will be up and running soon. It's just that I'm rubbing my eyes in disbelief already as it's made an impact on my skin almost from the first use. Another skincare item (in sample form) I'm already planning a purchase of is the REN Glycol Lactic Radiance Renewal Mask. This must be the first mask I've tried that gave me instant results and I'm already addicted to it. My skin responds so well to it and I'm on the fence – should I purchase this mask from REN or the Oskia's Renaissance Brightening Mask? Choices, choices. I think I'd love them both in full size! *agurlcandream* As for body pampering, I've whipped out my trusty L'Occitane Shea Butter Fabulous Oil. It just has the most comforting smell and texture and every time I apply it, I feel like being cradled and tucked into a warm blanket. Makes skin amazingly soft, too! My make-up world has been overtaken by the one and only, theBalm's Nude'tude Eyeshadow Palette. I've been loving this palette so much and I cannot get enough of the ‘Seductive’ and ‘Sultry’ shades. Those ochre hues look amazing with brown eyes and even make them pop a little. Speaking of ochre, you can see a big whack of it on the top of my Real Techniques Base Shadow Brush (from the Starter Set). I've been using it together with theBalm's palette shades and it's a match made in heaven. I really should replenish my make-up brushes collection soon and, can I hear an iHerb order speaking to me? Yup. My lashes have been coated with predominantly L'Oreal's So Couture Volume Million Lashes Mascara. It really makes every lash stand out and volume is definitely there. I'm really fallin’ hard for this mascara at the moment. On my nails berry and burgundy shades are making a comeback and Essie, dear Essie has the best berry shades. Essie Bahama Mama has been on my nails 24/7 this week and no wonder – it's gorge! Lips are well moisturized thanks to the Korres Wild Rose Lip Butter (usually costs £8 but it's on offer at £6.4 at hqhair.com) . A last year's purchase in late winter that never got the use it deserves. This year we'll rectify that and seriously – this is a stunning shade. Perfect for Autumn.
Oblacno nebo znaci da cemo dobiti koju fofografiju sa flash-om (barem kada fotkamo u zatvorenim prostorijama), nadam se da vam ne smeta. Ako nista, moj Canon 600D ima sasvim solidan flash koji ne ‘ispire’ fotografije . Moze li on biti prvi favorit sedmice? U svakom slucaju je konstantni favorit posto cini vodjenje bloga i uopsteno fotografisanje neuporedivo laksim. Sto se beauty dijela favorita tice, u ovoj ediciji Najdraze ove sedmice #12 imamo osam jesenjih ljepotana koje sam odabrala kao svojevrsna sredstva za lakse (cak i ugodno!) podnosenje smjene godisnjih doba. Zapocnimo od njege koze uz kupovinu koja je napravila rupu u mom novcaniku ali je itekako vrijedna svake markice! Rijec je o Oskia Renaissance gelu za ciscenje no zanemarite naziv proizvoda jer se ovdje radi o balzamu za ciscenje lica. Iako sam na pocetku tragala za Clinique Take The Day Off balzamu za ciscenje (biti ce i on dio moje preparative, prije ili kasnije), jednostavmo moram priznati da mi je drago sto je odabir konacno pao na Oskia ljepotana. Recenziju ovog fantasticnog proizvoda cete uskoro pronaci na blogu. Trenutno sam zauzeta trljanjem ociju u nevjerici koliko mi je vec razlike ovaj cistac napravio otkada ga koristim. Jos jedan preparativni favorit (u vidu uzorka), ciju kupovinu vec uveliko planiram je REN Glycol Lactic Radiance Renewal maska za lice. Ovo bi bila prva maska koja mi je odmah nakon prve upotrebe dala vidljive rezultate na licu i vec sam ‘navucena’ na nju. Koza mi tako dobro reaguje na nju tako da se premisljam – da li da nabavim REN masku ili Oskia Renaissance Brightening masku za lice? Teske odluke. Mislim da bi ih voljela imati obje! *mogusanjati* Sto se tice njege tijela, iz rezervi sam ponovo u upotrebu ubacila L'Occitane karite puter carobno ulje. Posjeduje tako prijatan miris koji me ususka u mekanu dekicu, svaki put kada ga koristim. Takodjer cini kozu nevjerovatno mekanom. Moj svijet kozmetike je preuzela jedna i jedina, theBalm Nude'tude paleta sjena za oci. Toliko mi se dopada i posebno cesto koristim nijanse ‘Seductive’ i ‘Sultry”. Oker nijanse sjena za oci izgledaju odlicno u kombinaciji na smedjim ocima i cak ih isticu, sto ranije nikada ne bih pomislila. Kada smo vec kod oker boje, mislim da mozete razaznati dobar sloj oker sjene na vrhu mog Real Techniques Base Shadow kista (dio Starter seta). Ovaj kist jedino i koristim za sjene iz theBalm palete i idealan su par. Takodjer bih trebala obnoviti zalihe make-up kistova – da li to ‘mirisem’ iHerb narudzbu? Oo, da. Trepavice su vecinu vremena ove sedmice bile premazane L'Oreal So Couture Volume Million Lashes maskarom. Zaista radi dobar posao kod isticanja svake trepuske a takodjer je i volumen tu. Prilicno mi se dopada ova maskara. Na noktima je ove sedmice bio dominantan samo jedan lak i moj dragi Essie se ponovo vraca u igru. Essie Bahama Mama je pravi, pravcati ljepotan! Usne su njezne i mekane zahvaljujuci Korres butteru za usne u nijansi Wild Rose (obicno kosta cca 19KM ali je trenutno na snizenju i kosta cca 15KM preko hqhair.com). Radi se o proslogodisnjoj kupovini koja ce tek sada da se isplati. I zaista, prekrasan je. Savrsen za jesen.
