Well hello there dear reader. Do you, by any chance, know which day it is today? It's this blogger's birthday baby! Oh yeah, I've turned the (to me) big 27 and it feels amazing. I cannot wait to see what this new year has in store for me. I expect a fierce year ahead and I wish all my fellow Cancerians a gorgeous month as well! I feel blessed to have such great people in my life, that I do something that makes me happy and I have an awesome job. In honor of turning older, wiser and (hopefully) better, I've prepared a Birthday Girl Make-Up for y'all. Hope you enjoy! This is actually a very important day beauty-wise for me as well because I've tried and applied my first falsies ever! Yes, that finally came down and I feel ten feet tall for going through it. For those who don't know, I was an utter chicken regarding falsies and always shied away from them. Today, as special as it is, I decided that I need something extra because – all birthday girls need something special on their special day. Just for measure of how big of a coward I really am – I never got the courage to try the Ardell Natural Demi Wispies I bought a while ago because I got scared of the glue so I've applied the Ardell Self-Adhesive Demi Wispies. These must be the best beauty invention ever! And I applied the first pair perfectly but I've screwed up the second strip of lashes so I needed to attach those to the second strip of glue for them to work. Yup, you get the original pair and a second pair which is a fresh strip with glue. You just press the original falsies at their bottom to the second strip and you're good to go. Than I've just coated my own and falsies with a light layer of Bourjois 1 Seconde Volume mascara. I'll purchase few new pairs of these self-adhesive falsies so I can make a post on how I apply them and hopefully practice will make perfect. I love Ardell Demi Wispies – they're absolutely gorgeous! So fluttery and dreamy.
Pozdravljam vas drage citateljice! Da li kojim slucajem znate koji je dan danas? Danas je rodjendan ove blogerice – oooo da, sretan mi veliki 27 rodjendan! Bas sam nekako optimisticna i radujem se svim novim stvarima u godini koja je ispred mene. Ocekujem da bude fantasticna i zelim svim svojim kolegicama Racicama (kao i muskom dijelu publike) divan nas mjesec juli. Osjecam se jako sretnom jer mi je zivot ispunjen krasnim ljudima, bavim se necim sto jako volim i imam najbolji posao na svijetu. U cast tome sto cu (nadam se) postati bolja i mudrija osoba, pripremila sam Make-up za rodjendansku slavljenicu. Nadam se da ce vam se dopasti! Danasnji dan je jako bitan i po pitanju kozmetike za mene posto sam danas isprobala lazne trepavice po prvi put! O da, i to se napokon desilo i osjecam se bas ponosnom sto sam to (relativno) uspjesno obavila. Za one koje ne znaju, oduvijek sam bila prava kukavica i bas sam se bojala laznih trepusa te sam ih izbjegavala. Posto danasnji dan za mene nije bas kao svaki drugi, odlucila sam da cu uraditi nesto novo i posebno jer svaka slavljenica zasluzuje lijepe stvari na svoj dan. Samo da vam ilustrujem do koje mjere ide moj kukavicluk glede laznih trepusa – cak se nisam usudila koristiti klasicne Ardell Demi Wispies koje sam kupila prije nekog vremena. Prepalo me ljepilo i misao da li cu se moci izboriti sa njim. Danas sam se odvazila za Ardell samoljepljive Demi Wispies trepuske i moram reci da su najbolji beauty izum ikada! Trepke sam na jedno oko nanijela bez greske dok sam sa drugima zabrljala i morala sam ih lijepiti na drugu, rezervnu trakicu sa ljepilom. U pakovanju ovih samoljepljivih trepki se dobije jedan kompletan par sa samoljepljivim dnom + jos jedan par samoljepljivih trakica. Preko njih nalijepite vec koristene i mozete ih nositi jos jednom. Kada sam napokon uspjela, premazala sam trepke sa Bourjois 1 Seconde Volume maskarom. Morati cu nabaviti jos ovuh samoljepljivih laznih trepki kako bih napravila post o njima a nadam se da cu do tada da budem bolja u koristenju. Ardell Demi Wispies su mi prekrasne – kao peruske su i bas daju sanjiv izgled ocima.
It was a wise decision to do my eyes first and than my base because I got carried away and there was pigment fallout everywhere. My eyes were done with the most awesome eyeshadow palette in the world – the Urban Decay Naked 2 palette. Shade Bootycall was my base, Foxy was applied underneath my brows, Tease was used for shading and I've added some YDK and Busted on the outer ‘V’ of my eye. Blackout is an amazing black, a true black and I've lined my eyes with it (using the brush enclosed with the palette). After eyeshadow, Ardell Self-Adhesive Demi Wispies were applied and I've sealed the edges with my trusty Bourjois Liner Pinceau liquid eyeliner. This stuff is magic even for us clumsy girls. My fave eyeliner definitely. Bourjois 1 Seconde Volume mascara is my current fave as well and a light coat joined my own lashes with the falsies. Brows were done with the help of my HG eyebrow pencils – Revelique Eyebrow Pencil in Ochre and Brown. A mix of those two is now on my daily beauty repertoire. YSL Le Teint Touche Eclat Foundation is my standard base and L'Occitane Immortelle Brightening concealer is always applied over my dark circles. Sleek Face Form in Fair was used to lightly contour my cheekbones. Sleek Blush by 3 palette Sweet Cheeks in Candy Floss got me all pinky and flushed. theBalm's Mary Lou Manizer luminizer is responsible for that serious glow that I've got going on tops of my cheeks. I've whipped out my beautiful Clinique Chubby Stick in Pudgy Peony and I think this tinted lip balm really made this look. I think it's stunning! Nails are coated with Essie Ballet Slippers and I'm good to go. Hair is freshly washed and styled as usual. I've added some bling-y stardrop earrings and I'm wearing my crisp white blouse from Koton which has pretty beaded embroidery on the front. Pairing the blouse with sexy ripped jeans (also from Koton) will be my outfit, completed with my Legend minty bag and my creamy moccasins. Birthday girl look completed. Pokazalo se vise nego mudrom odlukom nasminkati prvo oci posto sam se zanijela i pigmenta je bilo posvuda. Odlucila sam se za najbolju paletu sjena za oci na svijetu – za fantasticnu Urban Decay Naked 2 paletu. Nijansa Bootycall je posluzila kao baza preko cijelog kapka, Foxy je zavrsila ispod obrva, Tease sam koristila za sjencenje pregiba oka a YDK i Busted su pomijesane i nanesene na vanjski ‘V’ dio oka. Blackout nijansa je fantasticna, istinska crna sjena u ovoj paleti i njom sam obrubila gornju ivicu trepavica i iscrtala mali mackasti rep. Nakon nanosenja sjena za oci, postavila sam spomenute Ardell samoljepljive Demi-Wispies lazne trepavice i uredila sam ivice uz pomoc svog pouzdanog Bourjois Liner Pinceau tusa za oci. Ovo je magicna stvarcica, cak i za nas smotanke te mi je definitivno omiljeni tecni tus za oci od svih. Jos jedan favorit je koristen a to je Bourjois 1 Seconde Volume maskara. Njom sam sjedinila svoje trepke sa laznim. Obrve su uredjene uz pomoc mojih HG olovaka – Revelique olovaka za obrve u nijansama Ochre i Brown. Mjesavina ove dvije olovke se nalazi svaki dan na mom beauty repertoaru. YSL Le Teint Touche Eclat tecna podloga je moja standardna baza a L'Occitane Immortelle Brightening korektor je spas za moje tamne kolutove ispod ociju. Sleek Face Form u nijansi Fair je koristen za konturiranje jagodica. Sleek Blush by 3 paletica rumenila Sweet Cheeks (nijansa Candy Floss) je blago zarumenila obrascice. theBalm Mary Lou Manizer iluminator je odgovoran za krasno presijavanje na vrhovima jagodica. Koristila sam fantasticni Clinique Chubby Stick u nijansi Pudgy Peony na usnama. Mislim da je ovaj balzam u boji na lijep nacin zaokruzio ovaj ‘look’. Na noktima nosim Essie Ballet Slippers – klasik. Kosa je svjeze oprana i stilizovana kao obicno na opusten nacin. Nosim duge, sjajne nausnice sa malim zvjezdicama a sto se odjece tice – nosim cisto bijelu i prozracnu bluzu iz Kotona. Sa prednje strane ima detalje sa perlicama koji mi se dopadaju. Kombinujem je sa seksi poderanim farmericama (takodjer iz Kotona). Uz njih cu nositi svoju mentolastu torbu i mokasine u kremastim tonovima. Rodjendanski ‘look’ je kompletiran. Zaista se nadam da vam se dopada i zelim vam krasan ostatak dana!
