GAMEHA Grapeseed Oil

While it may seem counter-intuitive to use an oil to treat oily or combo skin, long gone are the days when oils were looked upon as something that needs to be used away from the face. The proof is the fact that cleansing balms are all the rage during the past year or so in the beauty bloggosphere – worldwide. And cleansing balms are oil-based so that makes me think that people are starting to think outside of the box. I've been on a beauty oil roll here on MB and you could've read about my fave, the Hazelnut oil and you have learned more about Vitamin B17 and Apricot oil – one of you even won your own bottle of this natural goodness. Next is an oil I have used before and it has rotated itself back into my skincare routine. Not only that – I've found out great and quite interesting new uses for it whilst reaffirming two staple ones from before. Want to know more about beauty oil of the moment? Keep on reading about Grapeseed Oil. This oil is derived from the seeds of grape also known as Vitis vinifera. Grapes are the type of fruit native to Asia. These days, Vitis vinifera vines can be found in some regions of Europe and North America. Because each seed provides only a small amount of oil, grapeseed oil is usually extracted chemically. Chemical extraction does have an impact on the flavor of the oil, however – it makes grapeseed oil have an affordable price tag. My personal stance is that it's best to use cold pressed oils in general – that theory I apply on grapeseed oil as well.

Citale ste o meni omiljenom ulju ljesnika, potom ste naucile nesto vise o vitaminu B17 i krasnom ulju kajsije – jedna citateljica je i osvojila vlastitu bocicu tog divnog ulja.

Due to its high smoking point, grapeseed oil can be used in culinary purposes but, for me, the main use of this oil is in beauty. The oil is known for being light in color and flavor, with a hint of nuttiness. Grapeseed oil I'm using is 100% pure (cold pressed) and it even has a light vinegar-y fragrant quality to it. It is quite different from refined grapeseed oil which I've used in the past and that one was heavily fragranced. In addition to having an ideal viscosity, grapeseed oil is extremely rich in beta-carotene and Vitamins D, C and E. It also happens to have a concentration of essential fatty acids like palmitic, stearic, and linoleic acid. Nutrient-rich grape seed oil has found its way into myriad cosmetic products – Caudalie, anyone? Grapeseed oil is also rich in polyphenols which are anti-inflammatory antioxidants known to slow down the aging process and prevent acne outbreaks. Grapeseed oil is light to the touch and comfortable on the skin whilst moisturizing it. When used as a toner, grape seed oil can penetrate blocked pores and cleanse breakouts. I often tell people who are interested in skin care oils to start using them on their body, and if you like the results – try it on your face. Before anything – make sure you get high quality fresh cold pressed grapeseed oil that's packaged in a dark glass container so it's not exposed to light and the elements that will break down its natural enzymes.

Besides being used on the skin, it can also be used for the hair as it will nourish dry scalp, some sources mention that it can help in treating hair loss, it's definitely efficient in strengthening the hair (hot oil treatment + massage boosts circulation) and finally – it can be used as a pre-wash mask or a heat protectant. Tried that and loved it as it reduced frizz. But, how do I mostly use it? I used to primarily use it as an eye make-up remover (excellent) and generally as a face cleanser. I also use it as a moisturizer/serum for my face. Adding few drops to creams or layering under a serum (my dear Caudalie one) – it works wonders. You can do the same with mixing it with body moisturizers as well. But the real revelation is something I believe will astound anyone looking for a good, affordable eye cream. Because it isn't too heavy, it sits well on the delicate skin of the eye area whilst intensively moisturizing it. I am prone to milia and none appeared during the use of grapeseed oil. Those tiny, fine lines also appear more plump and the overall appearance of my eyes is much nicer (make-up applies beautifully). If I want to truly prepare a pamper session for my tired peepers, than I layer grapeseed oil underneath my fave Nuxe eye cream and that is pure enjoyment. It's also believed that grapeseed oil helps minimize dark circles – unfortunately, I'm not able to verify that as mine are deeply set thanks to night shifts at work but as a eye area moisturizer – it ticks all the boxes!

No, kako trenutno koristim ulje grozdja? Koristim ga nekada umjesto kreme (nocne kreme). Dodati par kapi u samu kremu mi nije strano a posebno mi se dopada kada ga nanesem ispod (dragog Caudalie) seruma. No istinsko otkrice do kojeg sam dosla glede ovog ulja ce sigurno obradovati sve vas koji trazite okoloocnu kremicu pristupacne cijene. Kada se opasno zelim pocastiti i ocima prirediti ultimativno ugadjanje, onda nanesem tanki sloj ulja grozdja a preko njega svoju Nuxe okoloocnu kremu. Bocica 100ml GAMEHA ulja (sjemenki) grozdja kosta 15KM u Badem butiku.
