I've been thinking about many beauty bits I own and, even though I've learned to shop wisely over the years (bad shopping decisions reduced to a minimum), only a handful of products out of all I've ever purchased are something that could easily mark the life span of my adult beauty regime. Those are very special, very dear to me and without a second thought – irreplaceable. I know, big words but I truly feel and think that some things I've encountered so far are that good to the point that I'd like to pass them over to my children and grandchildren. Utterly gorgeous products of which I cannot speak badly for the life of me and I simply cannot fault them. They are a thing of beauty. They reignite my love towards beauty every time and they definitely deserve a category of their own on the blog. It's no secret that I love L'Occitane and have a special soft spot for their Almond range. Almost all products from the Almond range could easily fall into the ‘thing of beauty’ category. Almond Shower Oil being one of them, surely. However, among all of those highly praised and deeply loved products – up until recently, only one stood alone as the most unique. The almighty L'Occitane Almond Milk Concentrate. But I've been fortunate enough to discover the second product from the same range – and of the same, specific almond scent which transcends the power of most earthly pleasures for me. For me, the Almond Milk Concentrate is and always will be the most iconic body cream of all time. From the luxe yet rustic packaging to the most heavenly scent I've ever felt in a product. Ever since I've tried it, I couldn't stop thinking about it until I've eventually purchased it. And it was one of the best purchases I've ever made. It is unique for many accounts but the most powerful one would be that subjective side of this story – how the scent and texture translate in my mind. It isn't affordable by any means but it's so worth every penny it does cost. I kept the cardboard box it came with and will store the heavy glass jar when I empty it as well. This baby is the culprit why I love almonds now – note that I never paid attention to almonds before this concentrate. Second thing of beauty is the newly released L'Occitane Almond Supple Skin Oil. It made me say all the ooohs and aaahs the very minute I applied it on my skin. It's so luxurious, so indulgent, so scrumptious and gourmet! It's the only product I know of that shares the scent of the Milk Concentrate. Other products, even from the L'Occitane Almond range, have different scents to them (even the Almond Shower Oil) so discovering that this oil has the exact scent I crave so much was amazing! Not to mention the texture – dry oil in its finest but – it isn't a dry oil at all! It's very special, so different from other beauty oils I own. It's particular soul made it my most cherished beauty oil ever and I'll be writing a thorough review next week so do keep your eyes on this space. Razmisljala sam o mnogim proizvodima koje posjedujem iz beauty kategorije te, iako sam naucila da mudro kupujem (rizik pogresne kupovine smanjen je na minimum), samo mala skupina odabranih proizvoda bi mogla obiljeziti dosadasnji tok moje beauty ‘karijere’. Ti proizvodi su za mene jako posebni, jako dragi srcu i rekla bih bez premisljanja – nezamjenljivi. Znam da su to velike rijeci no stvarno mislim da su pojedine stvari koje sam otkrila toliko dobre da bih ih cak voljela prenijeti na svoju djecu pa i unucad. To su prekrasni proizvodi za koje imam samo rijeci hvale – naprosto im ne mogu pronaci manu. To su stvari koje su za mene utjelovljenje ljepote. Svaki kontakt sa njima me iznova podsjeti zasto sam uopste toliko privrzena toj temi i itekako zasluzuju zasebnu kategoriju na blogu. Nije tajna koliko volim L'Occitane kao brend te da posebno mjesto u mom srcu zauzima njihova Badem linija. Veoma lako bi se skoro svi proizvodi iz Badem linije mogli pronaci u kategoriji ‘utjelovljenja ljepote’. Badem ulje za tusiranje je svakako kandidat. Ipak, izmedju svih tih hvaljenih proizvoda (sve do nedavno), samo jedan se izdvajao kao nesto jedinstveno. Rijec je o mocnom L'Occitane Badem mlijecnom koncentratu. Bila sam dovoljno sretna da otkrijem jos jedan proizvod iz iste linije i sto je jos bitnije – istog, specificnog mirisa badema koji za mene prevazilazi vecinu zadovoljstava koje beauty proizvodi mogu pruziti. Sto se mene tice, Badem mlijecni koncentrat jeste i uvijek ce biti istinska ikona u svijetu krema za tijelo. Od luksuznog no istovremeno rusticnog pakovanja do bozanstvenog mirisa. Otkako sam ga isprobala po prvi put, nisam mogla prestati misliti o njemu i nisam se smirila dok ga nisam kupila. Nikada nisam pozalila kupovinu, naprotiv. Jedinstven je po mnogo cemu no ponajvise mi je toliko drag zbog subjektivnog dozivljaja njegovog mirisa i teksture. Ni u kom pogledu ga ne bih mogla nazvati pristupacnim, bez obzira kakvim budzetom raspolazete, ali za mene vrijedi svakog novcica koji sam za njega izdvojila. On je krivac zbog kojeg sam ovisna o bademima a imajte na umu da ih prije njega uopste nisam favorizirala. Drugo utjelovljenje ljepote bi bio nedavno pusteno u prodaju L'Occitane Ulje za podatnu kozu. I to je bila ljubav na prvo mazanje. Tako je luksuzno, veliki je uzitak koristiti ga i slasno je na neodoljiv, gurmanski nacin! Glavni adut? Jedini je proizvod za koji znam koji dijeli identican miris Badem mlijecnog koncentrata. Ovo otkrice mi je potpuno popravilo ne samo taj dan vec cijelu sedmicu jer cak i proizvodi iz Badem linije imaju nesto drugacije mirisne note (pa cak i famozno Badem ulje za tusiranje). Osim mirisa, tekstura ovog ulja je nevjerovatna – suho ulje u najbolje izdanju ali fazon je u tome sto ovo uopste nije suho ulje! Zaista je poseban proizvod, drugaciji od ostalih beauty ulja koje posjedujem.
