Remember how I raved about a wake-up lemony, fizzy soap Snow Globe also from Lush? I'd place Northern Lights in the same category. Not only that these two soaps are around only for holidays, they also share that refreshing and bursting with fun and life attitude. While Snow Globe is clearly a lemon at it's best, Northern Lights is more on the woodsy side but also very exciting and exhilarating. The pine needle, cypress and lime oils work their magic and I catch myself constantly sniffing this soap. I get a block and I walk around like a maniac with Northern Lights under my nose. It's gorgeous.
Sjecate se kako sam odusevljeno pisala o razbudjujucem, limunastom, prstecem sapunu Snow Globe takodjer iz Lusha? Stavila bih Northern Lights u istu kategoriju. Ne samo sto ova dva sapuna su dostupna samo tokom praznicne sezone vec i oba dijele isti osvjezavajuci stav i naprosto prste od veselja i zivota. Dok je Snow Globe najbolja moguca izvedba limuna, Northern Lights je vise u drvenastoj kategoriji ali itekako uzbudjujuci i poseban. Ulja borovih iglica, cempresa i limete priredjuju magicnu predstavu i neprestano se uhvatim kako ga snjofkam. Uzmem komad i hodam po kuci poput manijaka sa Northern Lightsom ispod nosica.
Northern Lights is also visually very interesting and the story is that the Lush folks, while in Finland, were very impressed with aurora borealis and its dancing fluorescent lights so they captured some aurora borealis and brought it to our baths. I would also like to mention that its vivid yellow and oranges (no greens in my block) remind me of lava lamps. Do you remember how cool those 70's lamps were. I always wanted one, but shhh…don't reveal that old-school thing about me to everyone. This will be our little secret 🙂
Norther Lights je takodjer i vizuelno jako zanimljiv a prica ide kako je drustvo iz Lusha, dok su bili u posjeti Finskoj, bilo jako impresionirano aurorom borealis i njenim fluorescentnim svjetlima. Toliko da su uhvatili malo aurore borealis i donijeli je u nase kupaonice. Takodjer bih zeljela spomenuti da me jarki zuti i narandzasti tonovi (u mom komadu nema zelencastih nijansi) podsjecaju na lava lampe. Da li se sjecate kako su kul bile te lampe iz 70tih? Uvijek sam zeljela da imam jednu ali shhh…nemojte otkriti tu moju old-school tajnu svima. To ce biti nasa mala tajna 🙂
