You remember that I was on a trip recently and when I came home a wonderful surprise was waiting for me. I participated in a point collecting game/activity that La Roche-Posay organizes on one of its web sites. It began some time ago and I wasn't even near to collecting the required points to win their face care set. A few days before I went on a trip there was this additional entry available in the form of a game in which you zap blackheads and acne along with a light quiz. I took part of it as it was fun and informative, not thinking much of it though. Well that additional entry earned me points I needed and got me this wonderful full sized La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo with some additional products. As I have mentioned before, I have mixed skin with that pesky T-zone and dry cheeks. I usually get acne from stress, hormonal imbalance and after working my night shifts. Now stress and PMS are pretty foreseeable but night shifts in my case aren't. After some my skin is absolutely fine but most of them leave me with few blemishes that I take home with me and I dedicate my free time to getting rid of them. Just in time they are calmed down a new night shift lurks around the corner and I'm stuck in this vicious circle.
Mozda se sjecate da sam bila isla na put nedavno a kada sam se vratila kuci me cekalo krasno iznenadjenje. Ucestvovala sam u igri tj. aktivnosti sakupljanja bodova koje je La Roche-Posay organizovao na jednoj od svojih stranica. Zapocela je prije izvjesnog vremena a ja nisam bila ni blizu tih bodova potrebnih za osvajanje njihovog seta za njegu lica. Par dana prije nego sam otputovala, dodali su jos jedan vid ucestvovanja u formi online igrice u kojoj unistavate mitesere i akne uz jedan lagan kviz. Oprobala sam se i zabavila ali nisam mnogo dala paznje svemu tome. E pa bas taj kviz mi je donio dodatne bodove koji su mi bili potrebni i osvojila sam puno pakovanje La Roche-Posay Effaclar Dua uz jos par dodatnih proizvoda. Kao sto sam prethodno spomenula, imam mjesovitu kozu sa dosadno masnom T-zonom i suhim obrazima. Obicno mi se akne pojave zbog stresa, hormonalne neravnoteze te nakon sto radim u nocnim smjenama. Stres i PMS su prilicno predvidivi i znam da ce mi izazvati probleme dok nocne smjene nisu bas predvidive. Nakon nekih mi je koza sasvim okej ali vecinom kada zavrsim sa nocnim radom vratim se kuci sa par novih bubuljica. Onda svoje slobodno vrijeme posvetim tretiranju akni i taman dok se smire, eto meni nove nocne smjene. Tako se vrtim u krug.
As for La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo, I have read many things about it but haven't actually tried it out myself before receiving this package. I was thrilled since many ladies noted that it helped them a lot with their complexion. But there is a notable percentage of ladies and gents that reported not so flattering things about this product. With these conflicting reviews I actually felt like a guinnea pig but was ready to test in on myself. La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo comes in a 40ml tube which is about 10ml less than the usual face cream. That doesn't bother me since I use a small amount for my face. La Roche-Posay products always have nice, simple and clean design and that's the case with Effaclar Duo. It smells of lemon to me and it's a pleasant smell which makes me feel even more clean, if that makes any sense. The tube is hygienic and easy to use. The texture was a bit strange to me at first because I expected something thick but this one is runny. It consists of a clear liquid and a whitish one which, when combined together, make a gel like texture. It's extremely light and skin absorbs it in seconds. It's not greasy at all, just leaves the skin smooth and with a matte finish. Now, I expected my combo skin to react differently in the oily and dry parts to it but it somehow left my complexion evened.
Sto se tice La Roche-Posay Effaclar Dua o njemu sam citala dosta toga ali ga prije ovog paketa nisam isprobavala. Bila sam odusevljena jer su mnoge dame napisale kako im je jako pomogao da dodju do cistog tena. S druge strane, postoji odredjeni procenat dama pa i neke gospode koji nisu imali bas lijepe rijeci za ovaj proizvod. Uz ove kontradiktorne recenzije osjecala sam se kao zamorac ali sam bila spremna da rizikujem i istestiram ga na sebi. U tubi La Roche-Posay Effaclar Dua dobijete 40ml proizvoda sto je otprilike 10ml manje od uobicajenog pakovanja dnevne kreme. To mi nece predstavljati problem jer koristim malu kolicinu po nanosenju. La Roche-Posay proizvodi uvijek su lijepog, jednostavnog dizajna pa je to slucaj i sa Effaclar Duom. Mirise mi po limunu i nekako mi je prijatan miris zbog kojeg imam dojam da mi je koza dodatno cista, ako to ima ikakvog smisla. Tuba je higijenska i jednostavna za koristiti. Tekstura mi je na pocetku bila prilicno cudna zato sto sam ocekivala gustu kremu a ona je prilicno vodenasta. Sastoji se od prozirne tekucine i bjelkaste mase koje, kada se spoje, prave gelastu kremu. Izuzetno je lagana i koza je upije u sekundama. Uopste nije masna dok ostavi kozu lijepo glatkom i njeznom sa mat zavrsetkom. Iskreno, ocekivala sam da ce mi masniji i suhi dijelovi lica razlicito reagovati na nju ali mi je nekim cudom ujednacila ten.
I love that it immediately mattifies the oily areas and the dry ones didn't flare up. I have noticed some mild dry patches which appeared for the first two days of using. I have read that some people use it only on places where they have acne to calm down nd reduce redness, something like a topical treatment. Some, like me, use it on their entire face. And besides that initial mild dryness I haven't noticed any other reactions. I appreciate that it didn't make my face feel warm (inflamed) because I hate when that happens and as I said, no redness in sight. The greatest thing about Effaclar Duo is that now my face is almost 100% blemish free. I say almost because I still get some blemishes after my night shifts but then I use it only on them and guess what? It reduces them in minutes! There are two different type of blemishes for me. The ones that I pop (yup, I still do it) with Effaclar Duo on get lost from my face in about 15 minutes. I am left with a small scab but the bump is gone, the redness and inflammation is gone. Blemishes which appear deep under the skin take a day to two to calm down but to me it's quite acceptable to wait that long. And it's a great base for make-up.
Dopada mi se sto trenutacno matira masna podrucja lica a suha mi nisu bila iziritirana njom. Primjetila sam par blago suhih dijelova na licu u prva dva dana koristenja. Procitala sam da pojedinci koriste ovu kremu samo na mjestima gdje im se pojave akne kako bi ih umirili i smanjili crvenilo, nesto poput topiklnog tretmana. Dok drugi, poput mene, ga koriste na cijelom licu. I pored te pocetne suhoce zaista nisam primjetila neke druge reakcije koze na njega. Dobra stvar je sto od njega nisam osjetila vrelinu, upaljenost lica koja mi se nekad znala desiti sa odredjenim proizvodima sto uopste ne volim te kao sto sam spomenula, nema nikakvog crvenila koze. Najbolja stvar vezano za Effaclar Duo jeste ta sto mi je lice sada pa skoro 100% bez bubuljica. Mislim na skoro jer mi se ipak povremeno pojave akne nakon nocnih smjena ali onda ga nanesem tu gdje su mi se pojavile i pogodite? Rijesi ih se u roku par minuta! Da razjasnim, kod mene se pojavljuju dvije vrste akni. One koje istisnem (da, jos uvijek to radim) Effaclar Duo izbrise sa lica u roku 15 minuta. Ostane mi mala ranica ali nema ispupcenja koze a i crvenilo i upala nestanu. Akne koje su duboko pod kozom nestanu uz njegovu upotrebu za dan-dva sto mi je nekako prihvatljivo vrijeme. I da, odlicna je baza za sminku.
I'm not the ingredient expert here but this is what they claim Effaclar Duo to contain and what those ingredients do. Niacinamide and Piroctone Olamine are packed to fight against bacterial proliferation and eliminate imperfections. The combination of LHA and Linoleic Acid unclogs pores while eliminating the accumulated dead cells responsible for blockage. They are combined with soothing, anti-irritant La Roche-Posay thermal spring water to reduce redness. All in all, I can recommend trying this out and put a pressure on that annoying lady that works at the pharmacy to give you a sample. They do get samples to give customers and potential customers and not to grab them themselves. One thing though, I've read some reviews from ladies that have sensitive skin. Apparently, their skin got inflamed with additional blemishes. That is really a negative because La Roche-Posay claims this product to be suitable for sensitive skin. I cannot attest to that but it's a piece of information. They allegedly haven't reacted well to this treatment so beware. This tube maybe is good for me but that doesn't mean you should get it without testing it out yourself. Be careful with any product, samples are there for a reason.
Nisam strucnjak za sastojke ali ovo su tvrdnje vezano za sta Effaclar Duo sadrzi i sta tacno ti sastojci cine. Niacinamide i Piroctone Olamine su odabrani da se bore protiv naglog sirenja bakterija te da uklone nesavrsenosti koze. Kombinacija LHA i linolinske kiseline otcepljuje pore dok ujedno uklanjaju mrtve celije koje su i odgovorne za cepljenje pora. Ovi sastojci su u kombinaciji sa umirujucom La Roche-Posay termalnom izvorskom vodom koja umiruje crvenilo. Sve u svemu, preporucujem da isprobate Effaclar Duo i slobodno pritisnite tetu koja radi u apoteci da vam obezbjedi barem jedan tester. Ipak apoteke dobiju testere za kupce i potencijalne musterije a ne da ih one sebi uzimaju. Jos jedna stvar, procitala sam par recenzija u kojima dame sa osjetljivom kozom porucuju da im se ten upalio i da su im se pojavile dodatne akne. To je stvarno veliki minus jer La Roche-Posay tvrdi da je ovaj tretman pogodan za osjetljivu kozu. Ja ne mogu tvrditi ni da li jeste ili nije to zaista tako ali je definitivno informacija. Uglavnom, one navodno nisu dobro reagovale na ovaj proizvod pa imajte i to na umu. Ova tuba je mozda dobra za mene ali to ne znaci da bi je trebali sebi nabaviti bez prethodnog testiranja. Uvijek budite oprezni sa isprobavanjem novih proizvoda ali testeri postoje sa razlogom.
Besides this tube of Effaclar Duo I got a 15ml sample of Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel. That's a small amount but I have almost used it up and I kinda like it. It gently cleans the sin whitout any tightening feeling after. It also has a nice, fresh scent to it. I'm contemplating purchashing the entire tube. We'll see and I'll keep you updated.
Pored ove tube Effaclar Dua dobila sam i testni primjerak od 15ml Effaclar Pjenusavog Gela za umivanje. U pitanju je zaista mala kolicina ali ja sam ga skoro pa istrosila i jako mi se dopao. Njezno ocisti kozu bez osjecaja zatezanja. Takodjer je jako ugodnog i svjezeg mirisa. Razmisljam da sebi nabavim cijelo pakovanje ali vidjeti cu jos. Biti cete obavijesteni ako odem u kupovinu.
I also got a 15ml sample of Effaclar Astringent Lotion. I haven't tried it out yet but I have a feeling that it will be too strong for my skin. I will try it out though and let you know of the results.
Uz to, dobila sam takodjer testno pakovanje od 15ml Effaclar Adstrigentnog Tonika kojeg jos uvijek nisam isprobala. Imam osjecaj da bi mozda bio previse jak za moju kozu ali javim rezultate nakon testiranja.
In this set two samples of Toleriane Teint Fluid are enclosed, each 1ml (2x1ml). I have it in Light Beige (11) and Golden(15). I am actually realy excited to try them out since they seem very promising. I am crossing my fingers, I'd really like my skin to like Toleriane but we'll see.
U setu su dosle i dva testera Toleriane Teint Fluida (svaka je po 1ml=2x1ml). Dobila sam dvije nijanse Light Beige (11) i Golden (15). Prilicno sam zainteresovana za njih jer mi djeluju po opisu obecavajuce pa jedva cekam da ih isprobam. Drzim fige i voljela bih kada bi mi se kozi dopao Toleriane ali otom-potom.
And the last thing in my La Roche-Posay package is a Promo CD which has some basic instructions regarding treating oily and acne prone sensitive skin. Some info about the range and the link to their blemish zapping game that won me this awesome bundle.
Posljednja stvar u La Roche-Posay setu je promotivni CD koji sadrzi neke osnovne informacije i upute po pitanju njege masne, sklone aknama osjetljive koze. Takodjer par informacija o njihovim proizvodima i link do njihove igrice zbog koje sam i osvojila ovaj odlican set proizvoda.
